Who selects the artist?
An independent three-person jury will review eligible submissions, with the process administered by New York Foundation for the Arts. Evaluation criteria will be provided in the official call. Information about the jury members is to be confirmed. George Petrides does not receive or review applications and does not take part in selection.
When will I hear the result?
Selection is expected by mid-February 2027, followed by notification to the recipient and alternate. The public announcement date and notification arrangements for all other applicants are still to be confirmed.
